Where does my joy come from?

Though I have lost two babies, I know I will see them again someday.
“These things I have written unto you . . . that you may know that you have eternal life . . .” (1 John 5:13)

It's not that I think I am so awesome that God is going to have to let me into heaven because I'm definitely not that awesome.  Actually, sorry to drop this on you, but no one is.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)

Thankfully, being awesome has nothing to do with it.  It's all about God's grace.
For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8,9)

God's grace was given to us in the form of Jesus, and trusting in Him is the ticket into heaven.
Believe (trust) on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved . . .” (Acts 16:31)

In one sense, the "joy that comes in the morning" refers to heaven, after the pain and sorrow of this earth.  But I'm not sitting around in misery just waiting til I die because Jesus came
that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10)

That's it in a nutshell.  If you have any questions, read the book of John, or ask!
